There is no universal treatment — only the one that’s right for you.
Every journey begins with a personalized assessment of your skin tone, hair type and goals, so your plan is as individual as you are. Treatments are delivered on the Candela laser, the industry’s gold standard.
Boutique by design. Personal by nature.
A new definition of smoothness.
At Laser by Mindy, you're more than a client — you're the priority. Advanced technology is combined with personalized care to deliver long-lasting results in a comfortable, private boutique setting.
Using the Candela laser, the industry’s gold standard, each session is delivered with exceptional precision in a calm, private setting designed around your comfort.
Your consultation is unhurried and complimentary. Your treatment plan is written for your skin type, your hair, and your growth cycle — not copied from a chart.
Every treatment here is performed on the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus — a dual-wavelength platform widely regarded as the benchmark in laser hair removal, and the system dermatologists most often name when asked what they use.
It holds two different lasers in a single machine. That matters, because no one laser is right for every skin tone or hair type. Having both means your treatment is matched to you rather than to whatever machine happens to be in the room.
Drawn strongly to pigment, which makes it very efficient on fine, light and stubborn hair. It suits fair to medium skin, where that strong pull on pigment works in your favour rather than against you.
Reaches further into the skin and passes safely around the pigment at the surface, which is what makes it the right choice for medium to deep skin tones. It also reaches coarse, deeply rooted hair the other laser can miss.
Why this matters for you: older single-wavelength systems force a compromise — either they cannot safely treat darker skin, or they lack the punch for fine hair. With both lasers available, and often both used across different areas of the same client, we select the wavelength that gives the best result at the lowest risk for each area we treat.
Candela's patented DCD system releases a precisely metered burst of cryogen onto the skin milliseconds before each laser pulse.
The cryogen chills the epidermis — the surface layer — while leaving the follicle beneath it at full temperature. The laser energy therefore reaches its target unimpeded, but the skin above it is protected. Two things follow from that: treatments are markedly more comfortable than on systems that rely on contact cooling or gel, and higher, more effective energy settings can be used safely.
Most clients describe the sensation as a warm snap, like a rubber band, that passes immediately. For particularly sensitive areas, topical lidocaine is available as an add-on.
“After just one session I saw a huge difference.”

“Clean, quick, and she really cares about her clients.”
Prices below are per single session unless marked as a package. Packages cover six sessions and represent the better value for any area you intend to treat to completion.
Treating Brazilian and underarms together is the most requested combination. The six-session package for both areas is listed under Packages.
A full body session usually runs 45 minutes to an hour. The appointment is unhurried from start to finish.
Six sessions covering full body, full face, hairline, and back of neck. The most complete course offered.
Six sessions covering full legs, full Brazilian, buttocks line, arms, underarms, and stomach lines.
Six sessions across both areas — our most requested package.
Six sessions covering the full hairline, front and back.
Three sessions of full-body touch-ups, for clients who have completed a full course.
Call or text to arrange a time. We will talk through your goals, your skin, and how many sessions your areas realistically need.
Most areas need six to eight sessions. The laser only disables follicles that are in their active growth phase, and only a portion of your follicles are in that phase at any one time — which is why a course of treatments, spaced correctly, is necessary. Hormonally influenced areas like the chin and jaw sometimes need more, plus occasional maintenance. You will get a realistic estimate for your specific areas at your consultation.
Generally four to six weeks for the face and underarms, and six to eight weeks for body areas. The spacing is deliberate — it is timed to catch a new group of follicles in their growth phase. Coming in sooner does not speed up your results; it simply treats follicles that are not yet susceptible.
A small area such as the upper lip or chin takes only a few minutes. A full body session usually runs 45 minutes to an hour. The Candela's high repetition rate is what makes that possible — large areas are covered quickly without sacrificing the energy needed for a proper result. Allow a little extra time on your first visit for the consultation.
Less than most people expect. The GentleMax Pro Plus fires a burst of cryogen onto your skin milliseconds before each laser pulse, which numbs the surface as it protects it. Most clients describe the sensation as a warm snap, similar to a rubber band, that fades immediately. For sensitive areas like the Brazilian or upper lip, topical lidocaine is available as a $25 add-on.
An invitation extended to every first-time client. You choose a small area, and we treat it with our compliments — no package, no deposit, no obligation to continue. It exists because laser hair removal is difficult to judge from a description: you should feel the sensation for yourself, see how your own skin responds over the following days, and meet the person who will be treating you before you decide anything. Mention it when you call or text and we will build it into your first visit.
Yes. The machine holds two lasers — one for fair to medium skin, and one that reaches past the pigment at the skin’s surface, which is what makes deeper skin tones safe to treat. Clinics with only one laser often cannot treat deeper tones without risking patchy lightening. Every skin tone can be treated here.
No — and we would rather say so before you pay. The laser targets melanin, the pigment in hair. Grey and white hair do not contain enough melanin for the laser to find, so those hairs will not respond. Dark hair on any skin tone responds well. If you are unsure about your hair, come in for a consultation and we will assess it.
Shave the area 12 to 24 hours before you come in — the laser needs to reach the follicle below the skin, not burn hair on the surface. Stop waxing, plucking, threading, and epilating four weeks beforehand, since all of those remove the follicle the laser is meant to target. Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks prior, and come with clean skin: no lotion, deodorant, or makeup on the treatment area.
Mild redness and slight swelling around the follicles for a few hours is normal and is actually a sign the treatment worked. Avoid direct sun, hot tubs, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours, and skip retinoids and exfoliants on the area for a few days. Wear SPF on treated skin daily. Over the following one to three weeks, treated hairs will appear to grow before shedding out — that is the follicle releasing them, not regrowth.
The accurate term is permanent hair reduction. Most clients see a 70–90% reduction in density over a full course, and the hair that does return is noticeably finer, lighter, and slower to grow. Hormonal changes can activate new follicles over time, so some clients return for an annual maintenance session.
Some medications and conditions make laser treatment inadvisable — isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past six months, certain photosensitizing drugs, active infection or open skin in the area, recent sunburn or a fresh tan, and pregnancy. If treatment is not appropriate right now, we will tell you when to come back.
The Candela GentleMax Pro Plus, exclusively — a two-laser system with built-in skin cooling. It is widely considered the gold standard for laser hair removal and is the system most commonly found in dermatology practices. There is a full breakdown on the Technology page.
If you intend to treat an area to completion, the six-session package is the better value — it prices the standard course up front rather than session by session. Single sessions make sense if you are testing an area, treating something small, or returning for maintenance after a completed course. First-time clients can begin with the Complimentary Introduction before deciding anything at all.
